View Full Version : MG FF ?
It is not a secret than the aircraft armament is my cup of tea ( French expression) (any malicious persons says i prefer whiskey)
so, sometimes i have some interrogations ...
On the draw we can see a MGFF with "trommel" magazine,
on the pic we can see MGFF ammos linked coming from Do217 N1.
Who can have détails drawings or photos where i can see a MG FF used with links.
Best regards, Dan

Hi MK 108,
my main thing is german aircraft armament and the referring ammo, too.
In Pawlas Waffen-Revue No. 15, Page 2359 yu can see the belt feeding system FF GZ 1-FF, wath its an Item I am looking for since ages and I think I'll never get one.
In the book "Flugzeugbewaffnung" by Hanfried Schliephake on page 199 there is a picture of a 2cm Belt filling machine, and if you look exaclts you will see thet it is for filling the FF belt with alternating ammo types, one AP and one HE. Also a never anywhere else seen item that my collection s waiting for.
I hope that helps you a little bit, that are the only pics I have about FF-Belt feeding.
cheers from Germany

Yes, I mean this Banana Magazine.
I have one, but no technical dokumentation about it.
By the way, actually I am setting up a MG FF/M in the variation that is shown in the second banana pic.
I am nearly complete, but I am still searching the pneumatic recharge unit, even in relic condition.
If someone has such an item left, please contact me.
Thank you
