tschechische 9 cm Wurfmine

Hallo,

hier eine tschechische 9 cm Wurfmine. Hat jemand eine Ahnung, ob es sich dabei um eine Übungs- oder Exerziermine handelt? Ebenso würde mich interessieren, warum der Treibladungsanzünder federnd gelagert ist?

Anyone knows if this is an training or and exercise mortar shell? Also I am interested why the percussion primer for the propellant is moveable due to a spring?

Could you tell me where from do you have this mortar? I am sure that it is not original. You can find some info on page

I can add some another picture, but function of this spring from this picture is not absolutely clear.

What makes you say this is not original ?

Knowing Alpini; there's absolutely no chance this is a fake.

Die Sache ist schon erklärt. Die Wurfgranate ist Original. Im Fundzustand war sie aber sehr stark verrostet. Bei Restaurierung wurde sie geradegeklopft und gespachtelt. Aus diesem Grunden sehen an vergroessertem Foto einige Teile des Objekten wie zu Hause gebastelt aus.

@Jano: this one comes from a german WW2 collecting point for enemy ammunition (in Saxony). It is filled with synthetic resin and completely inert. The fuze-plug is massive and made from one piece.

Sorry for my previous opinion, but I did not see the mortar before its repair and I thought that they never was made.
