At the moment I am working on a cutaway of a 21 cm Wurfgranate 42. Normally it used the Hbgr.Z 35 K wich we don't have. The luft version, if I am not wrong, could also be equiped with the Zt.Z S/60, but than there is a large gap between the fuze and the booster. Has anyone some information or pictures of it. Thanks in advance.

Damn  !
But i would use a Zt.Z S/30 instead of a S/60.
Rak.Dopp.Z S/60 would also do, but is just as difficult to obtain as a Hbgr.Z 35 K.

I suppose the gap was filled with a "Zünderfüllstuck".

Just checked it, the Fullstuck fits in there, but it moves around easily; it's not exactly a tight fit.
Maybe there's a special version just for 21 cm Wgr. 42 ?

@ BLU-97, I have been browsing through my files, and according to my description it can also be equipped with the L.Infanteriegranatzunder 23 NA.
It is also mentioned in this publication that the rocket was used for the luftwaffe.
As I cannot publish this drawing due to copy right violations and it is also too big (324 Kb) to publish, so please send me your E-mailadress per PN and I will send you the drawing.

By the way, a very nice cutaway model.

Yeah, DJ is right, but as i recall ;the protective cap of the I.Gr. Z 23 n.A. had to be removed in order to fit the "Stössel".

Wenn used in 21 cm Nebelwerfer 42, it was fitted with a Hbgr. Z 35 K.
When used in 21 cm Bordraketenanlage (Luftwaffe), it was fitted with either R.DoppZ. S/60, Zt.Z S/30 or I.Gr. Z. 23 n.A.

Here are some pics, i'll make a drawing when i have time.

But remember, this is one came out of a 15 cm Gr.19, not a 21 cm Wgr. 42.
