Hi!
Here is four drawing from an original russian manual from 1940. It is full of things, which can educate the solder how use their wheaphons. This drawings shows various types drill ammunitons. The most interesting is thet projectile which has feathers. You can see the text also so if somebody can speak russian please translate. Thanx!

Hi GA,
picture 40 shows the short bottom piece of the very old russian dummy cartridge M 1895 and thats what the writing underneath the picture says more ore less. These dummies are made out of old reworked cases and hav a wooden middle part and a bulletjacket at the front - the old round nose type.
picture 39 means dummy control - would say inspection.
Bild 40 zeigt das untere Bodenstück der alten russischen M 1895 Exerzierpatrone, das aus alten abgeschossenen Patronenhülsen hergestellt wurde. Das Mittelstück war dann Hartholz und vorne war eine Geschosskappe ( die alte Rundkopfgeschossform ) aufgesetzt.
Bild 40 sind Exerzierpatronen zur Kontrolle oder Inspektion.
