I was wondering when was AZ23 (0.8)umg used over shorter delay fuses (such AZ23 umg 0.15) on the 15-cm shells ?
0.8 sec. is quite an unusually long delay.
Did it depend on the type of the anticipated target (i.e. trenches vs. concrete bunkers), or on the compaction of the ground (i.e. hard ground vs. softer ground) ?
