Hello,

Here is a fuze I've been asked to identify,but I haven't got a clue!

I have only one pic,the markings are;

LOT 00

0e

6-62

X53 E1

Does anyone know what fuze it is and from which country please?

Regards,
Andy

It looks much like an Oerlikon fuze.

Thanks x,here are some more pics which may help with a positive ID.

The plastic cover/cap slides all the way down, the only reason it's not there for the pictures is that it's difficult to get off once it's in place!

The top of the fuze presses all the way in when the screw is turned to SQ (superquick?),but only presses part way in when it's set to D (delay?).

Cheers,
Andy

Andy, your fuze is made by Oerlikon for the UK. There it is used with 81mm mortar rounds. The internal Oerlikon designation is (WR) 0264.
It got developed in 1975 and it should be 150mm long and have a weight of 575 gram. It has almost all safety features a fuze can have.

Does anyone have any documentation on this fuze please?

Andy
