Wer kann mir was zu dieser hülse sagen? Ich vermute mal englisch. Wofür wurde sie benutzt, hat jemand bilder wie sie ganz aussieht? Diese wurde wohl mal gekürzt und als schirmständer benutzt. +qq

This is the current USN 5" (127mm) L/54 ship gun cartridge case. It should be 835mm long.

I'm sorry, but I've not seen one. I usually only collect up to 57mm for space reasons.

Yes it is a common US Navy gun use principaly as AA.
I know a same case in brass 5 inch Mk 6 dated 1945.
France use too this caliber after WW 2 as 127 - 1948.
