This came in mail today (photo on right). It is a US WW1 MK1 grenade with the upper and lower holes but is not threaded. I don't think this to be a practice or dummy grenade as there were plenty of them to go round, but rather a production grenade that for one reason or another was just not finished. Might have gone home in a workers lunchbox, or been leftover on a stockpile when the MKII switchover took place. whicheve reason this is a very cool grenade to me and has a special place in my collection...Dano
