Hi

i would like to know if the weapon facilities of Spandau in Berlin were still in activity in the first months of 1945. I have found many infos on his activity in WW1 but nothing in WW2?

The hole facility was closed by the Entente after WW.1. I guess no more weapon production. The hole plant was in the town and new factories where build in the countryside.

The fortress Spandau was used as a test and fabrication proofing ground for new or captured chemical weapons in WW.2. Special high security rooms, air condition and air cleaners. A lot of high tech and chemical laboratory stuff all underground.
