Hallo Stan!
(SMI) würde in diesem Fall doch eher auf italienische Herkunft deuten...?
Ja, hast recht "Societa Metallurgica Italiana" - das passt mir aber nicht so recht ins Fundbild...
Hi Stan,
I think too that is an Italian made for an other country.
The primer is the MOD 1929 Italian.
I know that SMI made cases (37 mm 36 M variant of 3,7 cm PaK : 37 x 250 R) for Hungarian, but on your stamp the Holy STEVEN crown don't appear. (see my picture)
Why did you think that is an 37 mm case ?
47 7... appear on your headstamp
Could by an 47 / 32 Italian AT case for export, diameter base : 55,5 mm. (47 x 195 R)
Picture of a 37 mm 36 M Hungarian made in Italia (Colleferro is a town in Italia near ROMA)

The Diameter of my case is 56 mm, so it should be an italian 47 mm case for export to ???
Hello K12E!
Very nice case! An italian case with Hungarian acceptance mark and Hungarian made primer! Looks very good!-1q
