Its from Societe Francaise des Munitions(Gevelot), Paris. The "I" is the Metal-Supplier: Societe de Metallurgie Franco-Belge in Issy les Moulineaux, Lotnumber and year.

4 is not a lotnumber, but stands for the 4th trimester
