WK1 Zünder / WK1 Fuze

I found this item during dredging works in Le Havre (France).
I would like to know from witch country this item is.

sorry I dont know what type of fuze that is. Looks like an early russian pattern, maybe a french development.

But I wanted to syay somerthing about the cleaning process u did.
Itt look like that u have cleanes it up with a quick turning wire brush. So you damaged the surface. If u do so the surface gets hot while brushing and it behaves like cake batter.

I woul really recommend to cleand such thinks by hand washich with metal sponge or by using electrolysis. So you save a good original surface, that is also possible to polish if you want.

Der Zuender ist meiner Meinung nach ein Französischer Zuender, der für die Munition der Mondragon Feldkanone für export nach Mexico vor dem 1.WKgefertigt wurde..Die Bezeichnung kenne ich nicht . Mr.Fuze, USA
