2cm Panzergranatpatrone 40

Hier mal meine 2cm Panzergranatpatrone 40. Die Kappe ist natürlich Repro.

Hat irgendwer solch ein Geschoss mit Original Kappe und kann davon eventuell mal ein Bild posten?

Ich hab hier mal nen Scan gemacht, der die drei verschidenen 2cm Pzgr. 40 zeigt. Die Qualität ist schlecht, liegt aber an meiner Vorlage. Aber ich denk, das worauf es hier ankommt, kann man erkennen.

So, ich hab die Bilder auf meiner HP-Baustelle..:ho
und hoffe, das es funktioniert.
Viel dazu sagen kann ich nicht, die zweite von links war ein Bodenfund..mit erkennbarer Schulter und Cu-führung.
Die 3. und 4. scheinen Üb-modelle zu sein, sind aus einem Stück gedreht, mit Führungsband..gestempelt "aux 44" sowie "WaA 411"- das Jahr macht mich nur stutzig..denke, es waren (teure) fakes
Ach ja- dafür suche ich noch 2 gute Stahlhülsen..??

die beiden rechten sehen wie die bekannten kopien aus. oftmal ist bei diesen der Herstelerstempel senkrecht statt waagerrecht eingeprägt.

This seems to be a 20x99R ShVAK API projectile that was altered not to say faked to look like a PzGr 40 variation.
It is for sure not a PzGr 40 which should have a Tungsten Carbide core which won't rust anyway. These cores have never scars bacause they can't rust at all.

A.P.I. was the only A.P. round available for 20 mm SchVak as far as i know.
So X's suggestion makes sense..

Mhh... Maybe someone made this one out of an 20 mm SchVak bullet but i can´t imagine that! I´ve got this one from a very serious collector! Which won´t sell any fakes to me. -3q

Maybe some kind of late Panzergranate 40 variation with normal hardened steel core?

There are also 20 mm SchVak A.P. rounds available with no incendiary. The rounds have a bakelitecap.

I say that it´s a late variation of the Panzergranate 40 with normal hardened steel core.

Any other ideas are welcome! :)

Panzergranate 40 had Tungsten carbide cores not simple steel cores (what the Russians in fact had).
The tracer cavity is without any rust scars and looks brand new made and does not fit to the rest of the projectile in this condition.
If you take the measurements of this item and compare it to standard ShVAK projectiles you will see that it is exact the same.
That the originator is a serious collector does not mean that he can be also wrong. I have seen too many of those already.

There are also 20mm ShVAK API rounds with bakelite caps.
